How can I tell if my granite needs to be resealed?

The “water test” is the easiest way. Drip a small puddle of water on the surface and wait a few minutes. If the area under the water darkens, it means the granite is absorbing it and it’s time to reseal. A properly sealed counter will cause the water to bead up.

Is the sealer you use safe for my family and food preparation?
